On October 24, CYPC held?its?third quarter?production & operation analysis meeting for 2024. The meeting followed the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, solidly fulfilled the requirements of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and CTG, evaluated and analyzed the current situation, and made plans for key tasks in the fourth quarter. The meeting was presided over by Zhang?Xingliao, General Manager?of?CYPC.
It was pointed out that?since the beginning of?this year, under the correct leadership of CTG's Party Group and CYPC's Board of Directors, and with the joint efforts of all employees, the overall production and operation of the company has been stable, the?key tasks?have?been?carried out?in an orderly manner, and achieved many remarkable results. As the world's largest clean energy corridor, it?has fulfilled its primary function of flood control and fully played its role in energy supply guarantee. CYPC's total profit and net profit have reached all-time highs for the same period, and its market value has consecutively set new all-time highs.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the fourth quarter is a critical closing season for completing the annual key tasks. All departments and units should continue to deeply study and implement the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, strengthening?the fulfillment of responsibilities, closely focusing?on the annual production and operation objectives, and ensuring?the completion of the annual key tasks with greater efforts and more practical measures.
Firstly, it was required at the meeting to solidify?the foundation of safety production. CYPC?should always take safeguarding the flood control of the Yangtze River and ensuring national energy security as the?greatest responsibility, strengthening?frontline safety supervision forces, and ensure the absolute safety of the Pillars of a Great Power. Secondly, it was asked to shoulder the heavy responsibility of stable growth. By making efforts from multiple dimensions such as performance, electricity generation and cost control, tapping potential and increasing efficiency, CYPC should try to play the role of the "pillar" and "ballast stone" in the stable growth of CTG. Thirdly, it was emphasized to vigorously promote investment and project construction. CYPC?should actively make effective investment in areas such as large-scale hydropower, new energy resources and international markets, and make every effort to promote landing of project investment and project production. Fourthly, it was called for steadily promoting technological innovation. CYPC?should optimize the working mechanism, focusing?on major scientific research projects, operating?innovation platforms at a high level, and accelerating?the formation of new quality productive forces. Fifthly, it was stressed to plan ahead and open up new prospects. CYPC?should further check the standards and schedule, make?up for the deficiencies, ensure that the annual target must be achieved, and?scientifically formulate?the annual plan, and lay?the foundation for a good starting?next year. Sixthly, it was required to further promote full and rigorous governance over the Party. CYPC?should increase?its?efforts in rectification and improvement based on the feedback from the central inspection team, consolidating?and deepening?the achievements of Party discipline learning and education, so as to?create a lasting clean and upright environment for work and entrepreneurship.
