All 82 units of the four hydropower stations (Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, Three Gorges and Gezhouba Hydropower Stations) were put into operation, with the maximum output power reaching 43,066 MW, accumulative daily generating output breaking 1 kWh for the first time, reaching 1.01226 kWh.

CYPC International formally signed two single contracts (Contract for Establishment of Management System of Murum Hydropower Station and Contract for Operation and Maintenance Technology Consultation for Murum Hydropower Station) with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) of Malaysia, realizing the output of the core ability for operation of large hydropower stations to overseas countries for the first time.

China Yangtze Power International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (CYPI) successfully participated in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of H shares of CGN Power Co., Ltd. on HKEX, obtaining 278,959,000 H shares of CGN Power, accounting for about 0.63% of the issued shares of the latter.

Three Gorges Hydropower Station had cumulatively generated 98.819 kWh of power, breaking the world record for the highest annual power generation from a single hydropower station.
